The mission of Mlima Mbeya High School is to prepare students for a successful education career. We will ensure that each student gets the instruction and support they need to achieve the results that will get them accepted into universities, colleges and the world of work.

To achieve this, we have some of the best qualified and experienced teachers in Tanzania as well as learning and teaching resources.

Mlima Mbeya High School opened its doors of learning in April 2006. In the first year more than 200 students were admitted into Form V and soon will be promoted to Form VI for their final year.

Students admitted did not only come from the Mbeya Region, but also came from areas across Tanzania such as Songea, Masasi, Iringa, Morogoro, Dar es Salaam, Dodoma, Singida, Moshi, Tabora, Kigoma, Shinyanga, Mwanza, Bukoba, and Musoma; thus making Mlima Mbeya High School a truly National High School.

The following combinations are on offer: CBG, PCM, PCB, HGK, HKL, HGL.

The school will be managed under the leadership of Professor T.S. Mwamwenda; an International Educator and author who has taught in Uganda, Kenya, Botswana, South Africa, India, Canada and America. Professor Mwamwenda wishes to use his international experience in Education for the benefit of Tanzanians.
